Project Manager 1/WI/Government


This Technical Project Manager position is needed to meet critical workload needs. This position will provide project management duties for IT-related projects, participate in capacity planning and work with managers and team leads to secure resources for projects. The project manager will work with Supervisors, Team Leads and staff to develop timelines, budget and scope of projects as well as other project artifacts. The project manager will work with staff and stakeholders of all levels and across organizational lines. Business staff use project plans and agile project management, as well as informal project management techniques to manage projects and monitor projects and milestones.

Working together with other division staff, this position will enable our client to provide technology solutions and support to assist staff to manage their workload demands and stay on schedule with critical business timelines for projects to implement federal and state mandated programs, make business process improvements – as well as refresh technology to assure that IT applications continue to perform as needed.

Hardware/Software Environment:
Our client has consolidated many of their infrastructure services. The environment today consists of but is not limited to the following: HP & Cisco blade & physical servers, VMWARE ESX Hosts, Windows 2008/2012 Server OS, NetBackup and CommVault backup software, NetApp storage, Cisco Network equipment, Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft System Center, Active Directory, and a variety of third party products and tools.
